What is Invisalign®?

A series of Invisalign® aligner trays are used to straighten teeth. Each clear plastic tray is worn for two weeks and are custom fit to gently move your teeth into the desired position. As there are no metal brackets and wires, patients find the aligning trays to be comfortable and easy to wear for the recommended 22 hours per day.  Because the aligners are removable, patients can take out their Invisalign® trays to eat, drink and to care for their teeth and gums during treatment. There are no special tools needed to keep the aligners clean.

Thanks to the clear trays, Invisalign® treatment is barely noticeable, allowing patients to achieve their new smile with discretion. Each aligner tray is customized to closely fit the teeth and are unrecognizable to the untrained eye. Invisalign® is also very convenient for busy patients. As the trays are changed out at home, patients only need to visit our Roseville dental office every 6-8 weeks, during which Dr. Rasi monitors treatment progress and patients receive their next series of aligners. 

Invisalign® can address many of the same dental problems that traditional metal braces tackle, including crooked, misaligned teeth, and bite problems. Consultation for Orthodontics

Each patient is individually assessed by Dr. Rasi. During this initial consultation, the doctor examines detailed images of the patient’s dental and jaw structure and spends time with the patient to go over their treatment plan as well as address any questions or concerns the patient may have. The doctor makes sure the gums are healthy, and any problems with bone density or disease are addressed before orthodontic treatment begins.  Patients enjoy a seamless course of treatment with Invisalign®.
